3. The Grain Store
You may have trouble finding this particular place where to eat out in Edinburgh as it is tucked away on the upper floor of 30 Victoria Street. The setting is very intimate and makes the whole meal here much more enjoyable. Furthermore this restaurant is one that offers you some truly spectacular views out over Victoria Street and West Bow.
4. Fishers Bistro
This restaurant is to be found at the bottom corner of The Shore underneath its turret. As this restaurant is busy at all times we would recommend you book well in advance. The sizes of the portions served here are very hearty and of course are prepared from freshly caught fish and seafood. Although it is a popular restaurant the costs are still very reasonable in comparison to some others for example their pan fried hunks of herring roe with zing caper, garlic, bacon and balsamic dressing on toasted baguette is only 5.95.
5. Centotre (Italian for 103)
This restaurant is easy to find as it is to be found on 103 George Street. The building which houses this restaurant use to be a bank and some of the features such as chandeliers and pillars remain from its previous use. These help to provide quite a romantic setting and is a place that couples will love dining at. The food here is fresh Italian cuisine and each month the menu does change using both authentic Italian and Scottish ingredients in them. If you are looking for some where to eat out in Edinburgh that offers freshly prepared pizzas and other traditional Italian dishes this is the place to go.
