There’s a simple rule of thumb you need to bear in mind when looking for a hotel in Benidorm – what is it you actually require from the place you’re going to be staying in? This sounds very obvious, but my experience is that people often forget this basic principle.

To get to the bottom of this, you need to go into the question at a basic level. So when you’re looking through the list of hotels in Benidorm that are available to you, you are in the best possible position to make an informed choice about the hotel that most matches what you’re looking for.

The basis for all hotel stays is obviously the reason why you’re going to be there in the first place. This will most likely be either for a holiday or city break, or for work. There are, of course, other possibilities (such as visiting relatives, attending a party etc.), but we find these are the 2 most common reasons for wanting to stay in a hotel.

Next, you need to think of where it actually is in Benidorm that you want to be staying. For instance, do you want to be near to the sights, the nightlife or the town centre, or is it essential that you stay near to where you’ll be working, or perhaps there are other issues that will come into play.

Once you have this in mind, you’ll want to decide what sort of facilities are important to you within the hotel itself. Certainly most modern hotels will come with en suite bathrooms, but if that isn’t important to you, you may be able to save some cash. Similarly, you should decide if you want a bar or restaurant in the place you’ll be staying.

Back in the day, it was unusual for holiday accommodation to include a gym or swimming pool on site, but this is much more common now. And if you feel the need to go on the internet while you’re away, you should check if the hotel has wifi internet access, which is increasingly the norm.

There’s not a lot of sense in looking for top of the range luxury if you know you can’t afford it. Fortunately, Benidorm has many hotels in various price ranges so you should find something suitable quite easily.

It’s not always the case that each hotel is available for your chosen time frame – or perhaps not for all the time you want to be there – so it’s essential you check based on the actual dates of your stay so you’re not disappointed when it comes time to book.
